General information

Academia Pradoventura offers different types of courses in all levels almost all year round (except winter holidays). The daily classes are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm resp. from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The standard plus courses take 45 minutes longer and the intensive plus courses take 90 minutes longer. One teaching unit takes 45 minutes.

From our course programme you can choose the course that fits best to your expectations and needs. Our entry-level test, which you will do on the first Monday of your course, allows us to find an adequate level for everyone. After the test you will have an introduction with your teacher. The day after (Tuesday) you will then begin the classes together with the other students of your group.

Teaching material

We work with the textbook PRISMA in the levels A1 to C1, which is adequate for the direct access to the Spanish language, in addition to our own teaching materials. These books are available for purchase (€ 18-20) from the school office.

For upper level students literature, newspaper articles, magazines, texts and grammar exercises devised by the school are used. A specific textbook for higher levels is not necessary. We intend to relate the tuition to the contemporary issues in politics and society, as it helps to understand the culture of the Spanish.

Standard course 20 classes a week

This course is the best for you if you want to acquire a general knowledge of the Spanish language or deepen your knowledge. For an intensive tuition we make sure that the groups are composed of 3 to 8 students.

You will have 4 lessons of 45 minutes daily from Monday to Friday or in the morning from 9:00 am, to 12:30 pm or in the afternoon from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm taking a 30 minutes break after the first half.

Standard plus course (+ 5 private lessons)

The course consists of 4 classes of 45 minutes daily from Monday to Friday. Due to the combination with one-to-one classes you learn more effectively.
After the group class you have 45 minutes to deepen the aspects that you prefer, read texts or just practise your conversation skills.

Intensive plus course (+ 10 private lessons)

The best option for students who want to progress rapidly and effectively in a short time. In the intensive plus courses we focus on fluent conversation and good pronunciation. To allow an intensive tuition the groups are composed of 3 to 8 students. We work intensively on vocabulary, grammar and written expression. Especially in the one-to-one lessons you will learn more effectively and have more individual contact with your teacher.

You will have 4 lessons of 45 minutes plus 2 one-to-one lessons daily from Monday to Friday.

D.E.L.E. Preparation course

The diploma "Spanish as a foreign language" (D.E.L.E.) are awarded by the Cervantes Institute in the name of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture. This diploma has an outstanding reputation in the business context. The certificates can be obtained in three levels: El Diploma de Español (Nivel Inicial), Diploma de Español (Nivel Intermedio) und Diploma de Español (Nivel Avanzado).
Our courses are a combination of general Spanish classes and additional exam preparation lessons (one additional lesson a day). You can do the exam on two dates a year in the nearby cities of Cadiz and Seville or in your home country. We will help you with the inscription for the exam.

Kid's course

For children we have created a special course (10 classes a week, 60 minutes each) in the summer holidays in July/August. This course is designed for children between 8 and 12 years old and is intended to intoduce the children to the Spanish language in a way that they do not feel like being at school. In class we play (vocabulary) games, paint, listen to music and see films. We also consider the children's wishes and ideas for activities. We also facilitate the contact with local children.
The children enrolled in the children's course should be accompanied by their parents/a parent, who can book a Spanish course or just accommodation.

One-to-one lessons

With this individual type of tuition you have all the possibilities to create a special program according to your interests and preferences. You can determine the contents and the duration of the course and the teacher will focus on your individual questions.

Tailor-made group courses

If you are a group with a common aim, you have the possibility to attend a course especially adapted to your requirements (e.g. preparation of an exam, preparation of studies abroad, technical language or a course with a special activity programme). Please contact us and we will send you and individual offer. The dates for groups can be arranged as you prefer during almost all year round.
